Thinking Outside the Box

The E=MC² Company is a new type of company, called a social business that is on a mission to change the world for the better. A "social business" is a mission driven enterprise that makes money, while benefiting society. We want to create a greener lifestyle that is more earth friendly, people friendly, and health friendly.

We operate a online platform for social change, called the "E=MC² Green Community Platform", which brings together millions of investors, issuers, companies, non-profit organizations and people interested in small eco-friendly, socially responsible and sustainable social businesses. The platform taps into the creative and collaborative spirit of humanity to change the world for the better.

We are part of an international green movement loosely classified as LOHAS consumers (LOHAS is an acronym for Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability). The movement includes members that are more concerned about human rights, fair trade, organic foods, the environment, health, sustainable practices, and spiritual and personal development.

Studies have classified 23% of the U.S. population (about 50 million adults) of the U.S. adult population as " LOHAS", who tend to make their purchasing decisions in keeping with their values of social and environmental responsibility. It is a $230 billion market segment in the United States alone and a $546 billion market worldwide.The leading countries spearheading this green movement is Japan and Taiwan.

The company is headed by artist & social entrepreneur David Kam, also founder of the Thinkism Art Movement, the first fine art movement of the 21st century - described as art with a social conscience) and cultural consultant / futurist ("trend expert") Kie Sasaki, to make the world a better place. Both of the founders have an artist spirit and a humanitarian soul, but they are also fierce competitors in the business world having won numerous business awards for design excellence.

Our company is unconventional and highly creative. We will become a catalyst for positive social change, by thinking outside the box. .

    Whenever possible, we will use natural and organic ingredients to help people become happier, healthier, and to live longer.

  • Sustainability
    We will be as much as possible earth friendly and take good care to protect the environment in production, packaging and transportation of products and throughout our business. We will educate and provide solutions to the public/suppliers about protecting the environment, fair trade and sustainability practices.

  • Creativity
    Using our online grass-roots green social network, we will empower people to reach their full potential, by giving people the opportunity to express their creativity, to share their ideas for sustainable living, to exchange concerned about health and social issues, to jointly-develop natural and organic foods, to encourage fitness and healthy living. By engaging the members in a lifelong participatory relationship, we will bring a healthy return for investors, while benefiting society.

    In addition, we will provide our employees (which we call "green educators") with a happy, creative, fun and rewarding working environment.

  • Charity
    We believe in the interconnectedness of global economies, cultures, environments, and political systems, as well as the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit within individuals in order to achieve full human potential. We will work with celebrities, retailers, and influential people to help Make Hunger History (MakeHungerHistory.com) and to make it easier for people to support charities via our Green Charity website.

Our company contains a strong charity purpose, that is not normally found in corporations; our humanitarian and social purpose is what makes us unique and gives us a warm soul.

We empower creative people to reach their full potential, by giving people the opportunity to express their creativity, to share their ideas for sustainable living, to exchange concerned about health and social issues, to jointly-develop natural and organic foods, to encourage fitness and healthy living.

The LOHAS member remains our number one priority. The LOHAS green movement is large, and growing, but it is also fragmented and difficult to reach. We intend to united the worldwide LOHAS green movement. We have created a social network, like MYSPACE.COM and FACEBOOK.COM, but targeting the LOHAS green movement. Our social network is the foundation for delivering other products and services to LOHAS members. It is the ideal meeting place for those who are passionate about the environment, the planet, social issues, health, about human rights, relationships, fair trade, sustainable practices, peace, spiritual and personal development. We have a strong technology focus, which we called Web 3.0 technologies.


Catalyst for Positive Change

Once the social network is populated, we believe LOHAS members will become lifelong and loyal members. We also help creative members in our social network to build their careers, to sell their original creations, to make friends, and to share their creativity. Members can exchange ideas, make friends, find dates, develop green products, start your own business, share your creativity, exchange photos, share recipes, view videos, write a blog, learn a new language, find jobs, raise funds for your art & creative projects and more, all while supporting their favorite charity.

Our Web 3.0 technologies bridges the gap to bring online and offline experience together, such as teaming-up with art galleries, gatherings, events (musical concerts), restaurants, clubs, and coffee shops to have safe offline meetings between our LOHAS members. We believe Web 3.0 technologies will merge online and offline activities seamlessly.

By bringing people together, we can empower people to make the world a better place.


Why Charity?

Charity, as part of a business model may seem strange, because we are not a non-profit organization. A venture capitalist may not want to fund our company because they believe in maximizing profits at all cost, that is why we are making a Direct Public Offering (DPO) instead to raise funds through green investors.

We believe a profit earning company, still has a social responsibility to society, not just a money making machine. Our company believes in providing whenever possible: organic, fair-trade, environmentally friendly, sustainable and great quality products/serves for our LOHAS members. Think Differently! We want to make the world a better place.

Some investors may not be comfortable helping society and charity in our business model, but we believe that we live in a inter-connected society, and it is our obligation as human beings to help one another ("to be more people friendly").

We as a LOHAS company, believe in the interconnectedness of global economies, cultures, environments, and political systems, as well as the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit within individuals in order to achieve full human potential. No matter what religion, all great teachings ask you to help and be good to your neighbors.

Although we may be a very small company now, we hope to raise $ 100 million for charities over the next 10 years. This is done by donating a portion of proceeds from all sales of our consumer products (beverages, sweeteners, shopping bags, advertising revenue) to charity, through our E=MC² Foundation. With your support, maybe we can even raise $1 billion for charities worldwide and who knows, maybe through our efforts, we may find a cure for cancer or HIV or hunger (poverty) in our lifetimes. Green Educators

Our employees are called "green educators ". We hope to recruit and retain highly creative and action oriented people, who work hard and reflect our LOHAS values. We are looking for people who aspire to change the world for the better.

We will reward and treat our employees well. We intend to make work, a fun activity, that will stimulate creativity and motivation at the same time. We intend to provide our employees, with medical insurance, flex-time hours, and recreational activities, such as outdoor environmental events and helping charities. What is a Community Driven Brand?

A "community driven brand" is a unique concept that allows millions of members from the E=MC² Creative Friends Network to jointly-participate in the creation, the development, the selection, the marketing, and the promotion of good-for-you green products for smart, healthy, social responsibility and sustainable living. The best ideas are selected via a democratic voting system, not unlike reality TV show AMERICAN IDOL, for commercialization.

Community members can help contribute to building our green brands. In return, after the Direct Initial Public Offering, we give back 15¢ from each package sold by retailers to the E=MC² Creative Friends Network members, in the form of cash incentives, loans & investments (like for art, documentary film and music projects), and prizes to members contributing the best new ideas and creating the best promotions.
