The Quebec government wishes to censor the Green Stock Exchange.

Under the Autorité des marchés financiers, they say that they have the right to control the Internet and censor certain information for the residents of Quebec. You are not allowed to enter the Green Stock Exchange website or learn about the Green Stock Exchange if you are a resident of Quebec.

The Green Stock Exchange which will open in the Fall of 2012. It will be North America's first social stock exchange. Originally we wanted to open the stock exchange in Quebec and create hundreds of jobs in Quebec, but we have decided to move the operations to the United States instead due to censorship by the Quebec government.

We are a green exchange that bring together investors and issuers who are interested in eco-friendly, socially responsible and sustainable businesses. The Green Stock Exchange is a new international online electronic bulletin board for direct trading of shares in social businesses. We also trade shares in green creative industries (music, art, movies, performances), and carbon credits (CO2).
